Redondo Beach in Des Moines is one of the best places in the world to see sixgilled sharks! This is a deep water shark species that is rarely seen by SCUBA divers, except at Redondo. Listed as "Near Threatened" and "Species of Greatest Conservation Needed", the sixgilled shark will be celebrated at this event full of sharks, science, and summer fun!
